MYKOTEL Accessibility Statement | Updated as of 01/07/25
introduction
We at MYKOTEL are committed to and work to promote accessibility to enable people with disabilities and special needs to use and enjoy the variety of services we offer to all of our customers.
About a quarter of the population in Israel encounters difficulties accessing the Internet: the visually impaired, the hearing impaired, people with motor disabilities, the elderly, and more.
In order to provide the best, most professional and accessible service to everyone, we have made the necessary adjustments to our website and implemented the accessibility rules as much as possible in accordance with the principles of the Accessibility Standard in Israel, Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments to Service), 2013 (Mark C: Internet Services),
The site is adapted to the accessibility requirements of Standard 5568 at level AA according to the WCAG 2.1 guidelines,
The accessibility of the site is optimized for the leading browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Explorer 9 and above.
Website accessibility information
We have invested a significant amount of resources to ensure that our website is easier to use and more accessible to people with disabilities, with a strong belief that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort and independence.
We provide you with an advanced accessibility component from Appify - Accessibility Toolkit, powered by a dedicated accessibility server. The software allows a website to improve its compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
You can activate the Appify - Accessibility Toolkit accessibility menu by clicking on the accessibility menu icon that appears in the corner of the page. The accessibility menu and the technology used on the site allow for many options such as:
- Adapting the site and site tags for assistive devices and technologies for people with disabilities
- Enable navigation using keyboard keys between links on the site
- Button to disable flashing and/or moving elements on the screen
- Contrast change button, light contrast, dark contrast and color inversion
- A link highlight button that clearly highlights all links appearing on the site.
- Changing the font size on the website to enlarge and reduce the fonts on the website
- Text spacing button that allows spacing of 3 sizes of text on the site
- Dyslexia support - font change for people with dyslexia that allows for easy reading of website content
- Mouse cursor magnification button
- Reading mask button that allows you to focus on the main content of a page
- A reading guide button that adds a reading bar below the mouse cursor that allows for easy reading of the content on the site.
- Text alignment – Option to align text on the site to the right, left, or center
- Line height button - allows you to change the height of the space between texts on the site.
- There are also accessibility profiles that allow adjustment according to an accessibility profile. The existing profiles are: motor disability, blind, color blind, dyslexia, visually impaired, cognitive and learning, epilepsy, ADHD.
- Accessibility plugin supports screen reader software: JAWS, NVDA, and more.
We continue to make efforts to improve the accessibility of the site as part of our commitment to enabling its use by the entire population, including people with disabilities and special needs. It should be noted that despite our efforts to make all pages on the site accessible, you may encounter parts that are not yet accessible.
